    Research on application of category management in procurement of offshore oil engineering projects

    Category management is a series of procurement management activities based on category standardization and clear category classification,guided by category procurement strategies. The procurement of offshore oil engineering projects is characterized by complexity,high risk,large investment and long cycle. Risks can be effectively reduced through category management,clarifying the procurement interface and achieving procurement value. The article takes the application of category management in offshore oil engineering enterprises as the starting point,analyzes the procurement value created by the application of category management,and discusses the methods and models of category management.

    Feasibility analysis on developing marginal oil fields with medium water depth in South China Sea by jack-up production and storage platform

    In order to accelerate the economic development of marginal oil fields with medium water depth of about 100 meters in the east of the South China Sea,the whole sea oil field development scheme of “integrated subsea template + jack-up production and storage platform + DP shuttle tanker” is proposed. The whole development equipment can be reused,thus reducing the cost of marginal oil field development. Based on the preliminary analysis of the foundation stability and structural strength of the jack-up production and storage platform,the key equipment in the development scheme,under the environmental conditions of the target sea area,the calculation results meet the requirements of the standard,showing that the jack-up production and storage platform can be adapted to the development of marginal oil fields with the water depth of 100 meters in the South China Sea.

    Research on corrosion treatment scheme for FPSO ballast tank in a certain oilfield

    The ballast tank is in a state of alternating wet and dry conditions between seawater ballast and empty load for a long time,with high temperature and humidity,high salt content,and poor ventilation,which makes it prone to corrosion. Once the FPSO ballast tank leaks,it will cause serious economic losses and marine environmental pollution. To avoid this situation,this article provides a corrosion treatment scheme for the severe thinning of the wall panels,coating damage,anode failure and other corrosion problems of the ballast tank. It has reference significance for the corrosion treatment work of other FPSO ballast tanks.

    Types and mechanisms of Shahejie formation reservoir damage in Bohai Oilfield

    From 2016 to 2022,the recovery rate of oil well productivity in Bohai A Oilfield continued to decline after the workover operation. Since 2018,due to high temperature and corrosion issues,scaling has occurred in the central pipes of multiple wells,resulting in extended downtime for maintenance,reduced annual production per well,and increased operating costs. To solve the problems of low capacity recovery rate and well pipe scaling,through the analysis of reservoir properties,subsurface fluid properties,and rock surface physicochemical characteristics,the article finds that the wells with low productivity recovery rate are mainly concentrated in the Shahejie formation reservoir which has low-to-moderate permeability and high wax content. The reason is that the inherent potential damage factors of the formation are induced by various external conditions,such as water lock damage and inorganic scale deposition accompanied by the whole development and production process of the oilfield,as well as wax deposition in the low-to-moderate water cut stage. The combined action of the three factors ultimately leads to a significant reduction in the absolute or relative permeability of the oil reservoir and a decline in the oil well output.

    Research on nonlinear resistance of eutectic gallium indium alloy liquid metal based on generalized additive model

    The influence of electrochemical conditions on the resistance of eutectic gallium indium alloy (EGaIn) in sodium hydroxide solution was studied by constructing an electrochemical reaction device. The experimental results show that the EGaIn resistance changes nonlinearly under multivariable influence (including EGaIn volume,electrode voltage,NaOH solution concentration and electrode diameter). Generalized additive model (GAM) was used to systematically analyze the multivariate interactions and reveal the nonlinear effects of various factors on the resistance. Compared with the traditional linear regression method,GAM can effectively handle the interaction effects between multiple variables. The results are of significant importance for enhancing the efficiency and safety of electrochemical sensors in various fields,such as environmental monitoring,energy storage,industrial process control,and smart wearable devices.

    The P oilfield structure is located in the northeastern end of the Tanlu fault zone’s eastern branch and the middle section of the Bohai South uplift zone. The structure as a whole has a nearly north-south trend and develops a series of “flower-like” normal faults in the recent strata from north to south. In the plane,it presents a “ridge-trench” alternating structural feature. Through research on the fault properties,regional tectonic evolution,and structural stress action mechanism,this paper believes that the “flower-like” normal faults in the area are not the accompanying faults of regional strike-slip faults,but are formed by the plastic deformation of the basement mudstone under the action of regional thermal subsidence differences. Based on the genesis of “flower-like” normal faults,targeted data processing and fault system identification technologies were proposed:multi-information-driven gas cloud area imaging enhancement and frequency domain multi-scale fault detection technology. Through fine fault description,the paper guides the detailed interpretation of the 16 block structure and the optimal deployment of wells,providing guidance for the optimization of well positions and the efficient development of the oilfield.

    Study on speed-sensitive seepage mechanism of different well types in unconsolidated sandstone reservoirs in Bohai Sea

    Directional wells and horizontal wells in Bohai M Oilfield showed two completely opposite phenomena:a decrease in liquid production and an increase in liquid production after amplifying the production pressure difference. Research methods such as X-ray diffraction and scanning electron microscopy indicate that the reservoir is loosely cemented,the content of clay minerals is high,the pore throat distribution is slightly rough,and the sorting is better. Laboratory core velocity-sensitivity experiments show that the migration of particles is obvious,and the permeability increases with the increase of flow velocity,which is inconsistent with the phenomenon of decrease in liquid production of directional wells in actual production. In response to this problem,a seepage model of “long-distance migration and blockage near wells” is proposed,and the concept of velocity-sensitive clogging coefficient is introduced,which correlates the change of seepage velocity with permeability. By means of steady seepage theory,the velocity,permeability and formation pressure distribution of directional wells and horizontal wells are deduced. The reasons for the different production performances of the two well types are explained from the perspective of seepage mechanism,which provides an important support for the efficient development of Bohai M Oilfield.

    Design and application of a new integrated protection device for offshore platform power distribution system

    In the medium voltage power distribution system of an offshore platform,the cargo oil pump often has unexpected trip,which affects the stability of crude oil export operation and causes security risks. After analyzing the fault,it was decided to use a new integrated protection device to replace the faulty old device. The hardware performance of the new integrated protection device was designed,including port requirements,protection function and communication compatibility. The protection parameters,logic parameters,I/O parameters and communication parameters of the integrated protection device were reconfigured by the host computer. The PLC communication program of the central control system and the comprehensive insurance communication was redesigned and programmed to solve the problem of communication compatibility. Combined with the port function of the new integrated protection device,the relay control circuit of the motor was redesigned and installed,and the replacement of the integrated protection device was completed. The implementation of this scheme provides experience and reference for the replacement of the old equipment in the oilfield power distribution system.

    The characteristics and advantages of the permeable municipal stormwater pipeline system are described,and the factors influencing the construction of the permeable municipal stormwater pipeline are analyzed. The method of calculation or experimental simulation is proposed to obtain the optimal opening rate and seepage quantity of the pipeline. The operation efficiency of the system is discussed in order to provide reference for strengthening the function of “seepage” of road and changing the structure of traditional municipal stormwater pipelines in the future construction of sponge city.

    Through theoretical formula derivation and single factor influence calculation,the influencing factors of pressure drop in the horizontal well section caused by frictional resistance are identified. Based on the actual reservoir characteristic parameters,an analysis chart is established for the variation of pressure drop in horizontal well sections with different liquid production scales and water cut stages in Bohai Q Oilfield. The ratio of the pressure drop in the horizontal section to the production pressure difference of this well is defined as the C value. Combined with the the production pressure difference,the potential of single well measures in Bohai Q Oilfield is quantitatively predicted. It is proposed that 13 wells implement large pumping for liquid extraction. After the operation,the oil production increases by 403 t/d,achieving good application results.

    Using the concept of “quality research and development”,this paper analyzes the factors affecting the safety and stability of uninterruptable power supply (UPS) systems on offshore oil platforms. After identifying the six end factors,the main and non-main factors are determined one by one through investigation and verification,sampling analysis,data statistics,and other methods. Finally,it is confirmed that the main reason for the low safety and stability of UPS systems is the uneven cooling during equipment operation,which leads to an increase in internal temperature. On site solutions were developed based on the application of the 5W1H principle.

    In order to improve the surface smoothness of the weight coating layer of directional drilling pipelines,a series of innovative technologies were developed,including slurry spraying,improvements in leveling tools,pneumatic platen secondary leveling,and a two-step film coating and correction process. These technologies significantly enhance the surface smoothness of the pipelines,reduce frictional resistance during construction,improve construction efficiency and quality,and extend the service life of the pipelines. The effectiveness and practicality of these technologies have been verified through successful applications in multiple projects.

    With the deepening of exploration and development of Bohai Oilfield,extended reach wells have become the focus of current development. But the oilfield has complex stratigraphic conditions,and many challenges are faced in the development of extended reach wells,such as frequent drilling accidents,difficulty in improving efficiency and reservoir leakage. In order to solve this problem,the synthetic-based drilling fluid BIODRILL S system is introduced,which has low viscosity and high cutting,high demulsification voltage,low filter loss,stable rheology,good coating inhibition and plugging ability,and strong resistance to rock cuttings and seawater pollution ability. In the field application,the performance of this system remains relatively stable during the drilling of extended reach well section,and the returned cuttings are complete,showing good inhibition and rock carrying capacity. Meanwhile,the friction coefficients in the casing and in the open hole are only 0.15 and 0.20,respectively,which have good lubricity and can effectively solve the problems of difficult sand carrying,high friction resistance and low drilling time in extended reach well.

However,most models do not clarify the physical significance of key parameters such as weight on bit (WOB) and torque. This paper introduces the effective WOB and effective torque,and proposes a calculation method for effective WOB and effective torque,which significantly improves the analysis accuracy. An example is used to compare and verify the results.

    The rapid increase in submission volume coupled with insufficient editorial staff represents an imminent practical challenge for domestic journals in the aftermath of their rapid development. This paper approaches the issue from three dimensions:academic editors,authors,and journal editors. Possible solutions include:improving the rejection rate in the technical check to manage the workload of academic editors,providing assistance to academic editors in manuscript handling process,promptly addressing format issues that affect peer review,careful handling of rejected manuscripts,and prioritizing the needs of authors. These practices can enhance the submission experience for authors. Dynamic work allocation and emphasizing alignment between individual aspirations and job requirements can improve work efficiency of journal editors. Employing these solutions can yield a dual enhancement in the quality of manuscript resources and the efficiency of the review process,even when editorial staff is insufficient.

    Based on the findings of the questionnaire survey,the practical experiences and challenges faced by Guangxi science and technology journals in science popularization and promotion are analyzed. The necessity and potential pathways for breaking free from existing limitations within these publications are discussed. Suggestions on effectively promoting their development in Guangxi during an era of media integration are put forward. The development of Guangxi science and technology journals in science popularization is constrained by factors such as limited societal impact,insufficient capital investment,and a narrow target audience.     Research on copyright issues and protection strategies of open access journals in China

    By sorting out the data sharing mode of open access (OA) journals in China,the copyright protection mode was explored to provide reference for the construction of OA publishing mode with Chinese characteristics. 335 Chinese OA journals were selected from the DOAJ database,and the data sharing mode was analyzed by literature research,data statistical analysis and other methods,so as to extract copyright protection strategies that meet the development needs of Chinese OA journals. At present,the OA journals in China mainly adopt the Creative Commons Attribution license (CC-BY),and the mode of co-publishing by the organizer,such as the editorial office,the publishing house and the publisher leads to the disputes and problems concerning the distribution of benefits and the ownership of rights among the author,the domestic organizer and the publisher. Chinese OA journals can strengthen and improve copyright protection from the aspects of clarifying the subject of the agreement,improving the division of the rights and interests of all parties,introducing supervision,open access data warehousing,and localization construction of publishing platforms.
