Abstract: Using the concept of “quality research and development”,this paper analyzes the factors affecting the safety and stability of uninterruptable power supply (UPS) systems on offshore oil platforms. After identifying the six end factors,the main and non-main factors are determined one by one through investigation and verification,sampling analysis,data statistics,and other methods. Finally,it is confirmed that the main reason for the low safety and stability of UPS systems is the uneven cooling during equipment operation,which leads to an increase in internal temperature. On site solutions were developed based on the application of the 5W1H principle.
