Abstract: Offshore jack-up platforms serve as critical facilities in offshore oil and gas development. To address the structural safety challenges faced by these platforms under complex marine environments, particularly during extreme operating conditions, this paper proposes an integrated structural monitoring method based on fiber Bragg grating (FBG) strain sensors and MEMS-integrated accelerometers. By deploying high-precision sensors at key locations of the platform,real-time acquisition of localized stress at critical joints and global vibration responses is achieved. By integrating finite element simulation, machine learning, and discrete Fourier transform, the monitoring data are analyzed to achieve comprehensive monitoring and early warning of the health and safety of key positions and the overall structure of the offshore jack-up platform.

Key words: offshore jack-up platform, structural health monitoring, fiber Bragg grating strain sensors
