Abstract: Plastic modified asphalt has high environmental friendliness and application value. However,at present, this modified material is prone to segregation problems during the preparation process, and the comprehensive performance of the material is not high. By setting multiple preparation process conditions, the storage stability and aging property of the prepared materials are evaluated. Based on grey relational analysis, the correlation degrees of modification time, modification temperature, stirring speed, and modifier dosage with respect to the influences on penetration, ductility, and softening point are calculated. The comprehensive scores of the modified materials are obtained, and thereby the optimal preparation process conditions are screened out. The experimental results show that the prepared material achieves the optimal comprehensive performance with a comprehensive score exceeding 85 points when the ratio of modifier to asphalt is 1:25,the modification temperature is 150 °C,the modification time is 60 minutes, and the stirring speed is 3,000 r/min.
