Application and effect of short videos in pharmaceutical science popularization

Abstract: Using Excel sheets,this paper statistically analyzes the views,likes,shares,and audience characteristics of science popularization videos released under the name “Nanshitou Pharmacy” on Bilibili Danmu Video Network (hereinafter referred to as “Bilibili”) and WeChat Official Accounts from June to December 2022. By analyzing the factors that affect the dissemination of pharmaceutical science popularization short videos,the direction is provided for the pharmaceutical department of hospitals to use WeChat public accounts and Bilibili platforms for subsequent creation of pharmaceutical science popularization videos. It is proposed that the use of short videos in WeChat official account and Bilibili for pharmaceutical science popularization can gain greater public attention,but there are still shortcomings. If the number of short video dissemination platforms is increased,the duration of science popularization videos is appropriately controlled,appropriate science popularization themes are selected,and a professional production team is formed,more satisfactory dissemination efficiency can be achieved.
