Abstract: In order to improve the intellectual property awareness of small and micro enterprises more effectively,the patent application status of small and micro enterprises in the field of medical devices in Tianjin Binhai New Area is taken as the research sample,and the data is used as the carrier to analyze the number of patent applications,patent legal status,patent authorization and other aspects through patent public data retrieval. This paper summarizes the problems existing in patent applications of small and micro enterprises in the field of medical devices,and puts forward relevant suggestions from three dimensions：technology,policy and industry,with a view to comprehensively improving the capabilities of small and micro enterprises in the field of intellectual property creation,utilization,protection and management.
