Abstract: Forest resources are extremely important public resources. They play an active role in maintaining the entire ecosystem,beautifying the environment,and promoting coordinated social development. They also have ecological adjustment functions to ensure that the natural ecosystem is in a relatively balanced state. This paper focuses on the analysis of the relationship between the protection and utilization of forest resources,points out the existing problems in the protection and utilization of forest resources. On this basis,the countermeasures to solve the problems of forest resources protection and utilization are put forward,including establishing the awareness of forest resources protection,enhancing the informatization level of forest resources protection and utilization,improving the construction of relevant legal systems for the protection and utilization of forest resources,increasing efforts in cultivating professionals related to the protection and utilization of forest resources and strengthening the infrastructure construction of forest resources protection and utilization.
