Vibration Analysis and Vibration Reduction Measures of Reciprocating Compressor on Offshore Platform

Abstract: The reciprocating compressor is the key equipment for collection,pressurization and transportation of the offshore platform,and its operation will generate vibration,which will bring hidden dangers to the safety production of theplatform. Therefore,it is necessary to evaluate the dynamic response of the compressor. Taking the reciprocating compressor newly added in the renovation of a platform as an example,the finite element model of the deck was established by ANASYS software,and the modal analysis,harmonic response analysis and transient response analysis of the platform were carried out. The results all meet the specification requirements. Machine control and vibration reduction measures are adopted to ensure the safe operation of reciprocating compressors on offshore platforms. The dynamic analysis method of the compressor can also be applied to the vibration analysis of other equipment on the offshore platform,providing reference and reference for similar projects.
