Research on On-line Monitoring Technology of Anticorrosive Coating Aging of Offshore Platform

Abstract: Anticorrosive coating can prevent the corrosion of steel structure and increase the service life of steel structure. Due to the influence of various factors,the anticorrosive coating will produce cracks,corrosion,bubbling and spalling,which greatly reduces the protective effect of anticorrosive coating,affects the strength of steel structure equipment,and brings hidden dangers to the safety of production. The coating aging evaluation of offshore platform jacket is very important for structural evaluation. The on-line monitoring technology of electrochemical impedance spectroscopy is used to realize the on-line monitoring of coating aging degree by placing probes at key parts,and to predict coating aging degree and maintenance probability in advance,which plays a positive role in improving coating performance and extending the service life of offshore platform.
