Abstract: The media convergence technology is widely used in various fields,in the process of promoting the integration of new media and traditional media,it also has a corresponding impact on journal publishing,including higher and higher requirements for the planning level of journals,more and more subdivided categories,etc.,which also means that traditional journal editors must accelerate the speed of transformation and upgrading in order to survive in the era of media convergence. Based on this,this paper analyzes the influence and ability requirements of journal editors in the era of media convergence,and proposes targeted solutions for reference on the basis of analyzing the existing problems of traditional journal editors.
