Abstract: In order to further promote the construction of environmental protection science popularization base system,meet the growing demand of the whole society for environmental science popularization,enhance the public’s theoretical knowledge of environmental protection,guide the concept of water saving,water loving,water sparing,water protection and scientific water use,it is necessary to build a science popularization education base with both the function of sewage treatment and the knowledge of environmental protection. Guangyuan Airport Sewage Treatment Plant promotes the construction of environmental protection science popularization base focusing on the concept of “circulation”. Through the popularization of theoretical knowledge and diversified forms of science popularization,combined with personal experience and experiment,the science popularization base plays an exemplary role,providing a meaningful reference direction for making full use of the surplus value of the sewage treatment plant. This aims to construct a unique environmental protection science popularization base in Guangyuan.
