Abstract: By analyzing and categorizing the source of sludge from refining and chemical enterprises,a study on hazardous characteristics is conducted. The focus is on selecting representative samples of biochemical sludge. Analysis is carried out from seven aspects：corrosiveness,flammability,reactivity,leaching toxicity,toxicity,acute toxicity and compositional analysis. The biochemical sludge from the refining and chemical enterprise is determined as general industrial solid waste. According to the different hazardous characteristics of oil sludge,scum and biochemical sludge,the respective resource utilization technology routes are determined. It provides technical reference for sludge treatment in refining and chemical enterprises.
