Abstract: The management of rural domestic waste is an important measure to improve the quality of rural living environment and promote rural revitalization. There are many shortcomings in the construction and operation of infrastructure for the entire process management of rural domestic waste collection,transportation,and treatment. The per-capita daily production of rural domestic waste in a western city is about 0.61 kg per day. Through on-site verification,a systematic study is conducted on the infrastructure status of rural domestic waste management,and the existing problems and shortcomings are comprehensively analyzed. Countermeasures and suggestions are proposed from the aspects of integrating urban and rural domestic waste collection and transportation,introducing social capital to optimize the construction and operation mode of rural domestic waste management infrastructure,increasing capital investment to improve infrastructure operation efficiency,etc.,to promote the effective improvement of living environment and improve the rural living environment.
