Abstract: As a new wave of technological revolution emerges and medical paradigms undergo significant transformations,research-oriented hospitals have emerged as pivotal forces in shaping China’s healthcare innovation system. Talent attraction and cultivation as the first key to the development of research-oriented hospitals. This paper reviews the current status of scientific and technological innovation talent teams in China’s research-oriented hospitals and analyzes the challenges faced in advancing recruitment and cultivation efforts. On this basis, with reference to the “Four-Chain” theory proposed in the report of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,a new model for attracting and cultivating scientific and technological innovation talents is put forward. This model focuses on unblocking the innovation chain, optimizing the talent chain, extending the industrial chain, and strengthening the capital chain, providing a path reference for the construction of a high-level innovative talent team in research-oriented hospitals.

Key words: research-oriented hospitals, scientific and technological innovation talent, four-chains linkage, attraction and cultivation model
