Abstract: In a gas field development project,an unmanned wellhead platform with a total of 65 development wells was deployed. The piping design and construction for the wellhead surface process involved a massive workload. Personnel had to commute by boat between living quarters and the construction site,and due to constraints such as limited pilot on board and scarce vessel resources,construction progress could not be reliably ensured. During the piping installation and connection to the gas Christmas trees,the absence of reference positioning benchmarks required delaying piping connections until after the Christmas trees were fully installed. This resulted in a lag between well completion and well commissioning,and the well cannot be put into production in a timely manner after completion. To address the factors and issues affecting the time efficiency of development well commissioning,brainstorming sessions and solution studies have been conducted,and a series of technical measures have been adopted to improve the time efficiency of development well commissioning.
