Key technologies and development trends of building-integrated photovoltaics in China from perspective of patent applications

Abstract

Abstract: With the global energy transformation and the improvement of green building demand,building-integrated photovoltaics （BIPV） as the core technology to achieve the integration of sustainable energy utilization and building functions,its research and application have received widespread attention. This paper systematically outlines the technological framework of BIPV,conducts a retrieval of relevant patents based on the China Patent Abstract Database,and analyzes the overall trends in patent applications. It provides data support and theoretical reference for the selection of innovation paths,optimization of patent layout,and formulation of industrialization strategies for BIPV technology.
