Abstract: The review effect of editors on medical papers directly affects the quality of journals and is of great significance to the dissemination of academic achievements. Based on the common problems and error-prone points encountered in the review process,the paper analyzes papers from the perspectives of academic misconduct,academic ethics,advancement and scientificity,puts forward targeted handling suggestions to ensure the academic nature and timeliness of the publication of scientific research achievements. The review methods and key focuses of journal editors on medical papers are summarized to provide reference for peer reviewers to conduct effective review,further identify more high-quality articles with academic height and content depth,and promote the development of scientific research.
