Abstract: In order to achieve rapid and efficient review of manuscripts and publish high-quality manuscripts,the construction and management of scholar database to support the high-quality development of the journal are discussed. Taking the example of Cancer Biology & Medicine in building tumor scholar database,the paper discusses the necessity of creating tumor scholar database,as well as how to establish and utilize it. The expanded functions of the scholar database in terms of dynamic management of experts,optimizing peer review,soliciting high quality manuscripts,conducting diverse academic activities,and precise dissemination are elaborated to provide references for the further development of domestic scientific journals.
