Abstract: As the key content of college students' training,college students' science and technology volunteer service is not only the core means to realize college education through volunteer service,but also an important way to promote social development. Establishing an effective specific mode is the key to carry out science and technology volunteer service for college students. The new era puts forward scientific requirements for the volunteer service. This paper analyzes the connotation and significance of the science and technology volunteer service under the new era,as well as best practice cases. Starting from the construction of the practical activity system of science and technology volunteer service,the “Trinity” science and technology volunteer service model is proposed to guide college students to actively participate in science and technology volunteer service,and to achieve talent cultivation from the aspects of ideological construction,spiritual guidance,practical ability,etc.,in order to provide reference ideas and models for the science and technology volunteer service work of college students.
