Abstract: Searching and reading literature are the essential skills of every medical scientist. PubMed is a database in the field of medicine and life sciences. MedReading is a completely free Chinese version of PubMed,with rich literature analysis functions and full-text download assisted by artificial intelligence. The purpose of this paper is to explore the role of MedReading in improving the academic ability of medical scientific researchers and contributing to the selection of journals,and to explain the practice of MedReading in the work of editors of medical sci-tech journals from the perspectives of scientific literacy,manuscript quality,and topic planning, so as to promote the prosperity and development of medical sci-tech journals.
