Abstract: Dual-fuel reciprocating generator sets have the characteristics of strong fuel adaptability and convenient operation and maintenance. During operation,the platform’s self-produced associated gas can be fully utilized to minimize fuel oil consumption,save operating costs,and improve the overall development income of the oilfield. This paper introduces the application of dual-fuel reciprocating generator sets on offshore platforms,and provides reference for the subsequent promotion and application of such generator sets on offshore platforms.
