Abstract: Ginkgo tree is a very common landscaping tree species in northern China. It has beautiful shape, leaves are light green in spring and summer and turns yellow in autumn. It is quite beautiful and can be used as garden trees and street trees. This paper analyzes the seedling raising technology of ginkgo tree from four aspects：land selection and preparation,seed selection and seed treatment,sowing and seedling management. On this basis,the cultivation and management techniques of ginkgo tree are analyzed from four aspects：digging planting holes,planting seedlings,tending management and pest control. In terms of pest control,two common diseases of ginkgo tree,ginkgo dry blight and ginkgo ultra-small leaf roller moth,are introduced,and specific control methods are given.
