Abstract: In recent years,artificial intelligence technology has been applied to various fields of society at a rapid speed. The high-frequency term analysis of artificial intelligence research has laid a solid foundation for the development of science and technology and the construction of science and technology society. Taking the top 1 000 SCI documents from high to low citation frequency included in the Web of Science database in the past five years as samples，and using CiteSpace visual bibliometric software to analyze the frontiers and hotspots of artificial intelligence，it is found that AI research is mainly focused on machine learning，deep learning，neural networks，novel coronavirus pneumonia and so on. In the field of AI，the global cooperation and technological innovation should be strengthened，and the cultivation of professional talents in universities should be intensified.
