Abstract: The typical problems of start-up failure of a gas-fired generator unit in an offshore oil field are summarized by sorting out the cases of start-up and ignition failure. Through summarizing the fault description,cause analysis,and judgment process during the unit start-up process,targeted treatment methods were finally adopted on site,providing a solution to the problem of similar start-up fault.
