Difficulties and Promotion Strategies for Young Editors of Sci-tech Journals in Colleges and Universities

Abstract: The development of sci-tech journals published by colleges and universities is closely related to the quality of editorial work. Young editors,who were born in the 1980s and 1990s,are gradually becoming the new working force in editing and publishing. Their ability determines the quality of the editing work and thus the quality of academic journals in colleges and universities. Improving the competence of young editors is not only conducive to their own professional development,but also helpful to maintain sustainable development of academic journals. Therefore,in view of the difficulties encountered by young editors of academic journals in colleges and universities in the new era,and in combination with the current situation and characteristics of young editors of academic journals in colleges and universities,some suggestions are put forward in order to provide useful help for young editors to adapt to the work of editing journals in colleges and universities as soon as possible, and help young editors in colleges and universities to continuously improve their professional ability and take into account their own development in the process of growth.
