Application of Enrofloxacin in Veterinary Clinic

Abstract

Abstract: Enrofloxacin is a chemically synthesized third-generation quinolone specific antibiotic for animals. Because of its wide antibacterial spectrum,safe and reliable efficacy,it is widely used in the treatment of bacterial and mycoplasma infections in livestock,poultry,pets and aquatic products. This paper reviews the physicochemical properties,antibacterial effects,clinical applications,and adverse reactions of enrofloxacin,in order to provide reference for the scientific and rational application of enrofloxacin in veterinary clinical practice.
