Research on Application of Imidazoline Corrosion Inhibitors in Oil Well Corrosion Control

Abstract: In the southern area of Dagang Oilfield,due to the high salinity and hydrogen sulfide content of the formation water,rod breakage and pipe leakage occur in the production process of oil wells due to corrosion,which seriously affects the normal production of oil wells. Through the analysis of corrosion factors in oil wells and the evaluation of corrosion inhibitors on site,it is found that the optimal corrosion inhibition concentration of imidazoline corrosion inhibitors is 30 mg/L to 160 mg/L,and the dosing cycle can be extended by 1 to 2 days. By optimizing dosing system and prolonging dosing cycle,corrosion control in oil wells is realized and the single-well pump inspection cycle is prolonged.
