Abstract: With the continuous improvement and implementation of new local standards for the emission of atmospheric pollutants from household waste incineration in various provinces,it is necessary to upgrade and renovate the flue gas treatment systems of old power plants. The deacidification system,as an important component of the flue gas treatment system in waste incineration power plants, mainly plays a role in treating sulfides in the flue gas treatment system. The combination of dry and semi-dry deacidification systems using baking soda can better reduce the content of sulfur dioxide in the emitted flue gas. This article summarizes the desulfurization principle, process function, and reasons that affect production during the use of baking soda deacidification, providing reference for improving system efficiency.

Key words: baking soda, dry deacidification, semi-dry deacidification, sulfur dioxide
