Analysis of occupational disease hazard effect and protection in early stage of an offshore oil platform gas recovery and renovation project

Abstract: Through the pre-analysis of the changes of occupational hazard factors before the operation of a natural gas recovery and renovation project of an offshore oil platform,the key control points of occupational hazard and guiding prevention measures are put forward to meet the occupational health requirements. The concentration/intensity of occupational hazard factors after the project renovation can be estimated through analog investigation,detection and calculation of occupational health,and the protective effect of occupational disease prevention measures to be taken can be predicted. The concentrations of toxic chemicals tested by analogy in this project are in line with national occupational health standards. The individual noise level calculated by analogy is higher than that before the renovation,and the prediction of one individual noise contact level does not meet the national standard. Among the occupational hazard factors in this project,the influence of the estimated chemical harmful factors does not change significantly,and the noise of the physical factors increases the individual noise exposure level of the main operators of the platform. The project has taken corresponding protective measures,and after effective management and improvement of other deficiencies,it meets the requirements of national laws,regulations and standards on occupational disease prevention and control.
