Abstract: This paper expounds on the characteristics of steel plate materials used in Toyota vehicle bodies,systematically describes common material models,standards,and cost-reduction methods. Combined with the development status and trends of vehicle body materials at home and abroad,it points out the importance of developing and using lightweight,safe and environmentally friendly body materials.
