Abstract: How to accurately and quickly select excellent reviewers from a large and complex database of reviewers has always been a practical problem that every journal faces. In response to the current lack of quantitative selection of excellent reviewers,this article adopts the analytic hierarchy process （AHP） to construct an evaluation system for excellent reviewer indicators. By establishing pairwise judgment matrices for standard and indicator layers,calculating the weights of each indicator system and conducting consistency judgments on the third and fourth order judgment matrices,a simplified evaluation model for excellent reviewers was constructed. Through case analysis,the scientificity and operability of the model were demonstrated,which can provide a reference for scientific journals in selecting excellent reviewers.
