Design and improvement of international shore fire hose thrower for offshore oil fields

Abstract: An international shore fire hose thrower for offshore oil field is designed to solve the problems of inefficiency and safety risk of traditional fire control system in fire prevention and control of unmanned platform. Based on the principle of the modified rope thrower,the device realizes the fast connection of the fire hose through remote control,which significantly improves the fire fighting efficiency. The research focuses on the design,optimization and application of the device,with special emphasis on its advantages in safety and ease of operation. The experimental results show that the thrower can work effectively in different environments and bad weather conditions,and greatly improve the fire safety capability of the offshore oil field unmanned platform.
