Research on energy loss from collision of small LNG carriers in inland rivers

Abstract: Based on the external collision mechanics and collision analysis theory,this paper analyzes the energy loss of small LNG carriers in the Yangtze River Basin when colliding with other ships at different speeds,collision angles,and impact points. From the perspective of external dynamics,the energy loss of LNG transport ships when colliding with other ships during operation is calculated,which lays the foundation for the internal mechanical analysis of LNG ships.
