Abstract: Tianjin has taken the lead in proposing a holistic science popularization action plan in China,which is both an opportunity and a challenge for the field of medical and health education. Based on the development paths of medical and health science popularization venues at home and abroad,as well as the problems and current situation in relevant fields in Tianjin,this article conducts preliminary discussions on the promotion mode,talent construction,professional settings,and collaborative cooperation of medical and health venues. It is suggested that existing venues and bases should be fully utilized,the science popularization direction of key disease specialties should be planned and coordinated,and a number of distinctive and specialized medical science popularization institutions should be vigorously supported.
