Abstract: Taking literature retrieved from different sources of journals in the China National Knowledge Infrastructure database as research data,CiteSpace software was used to visualize and analyze the publication volume, keywords, and publishing institutions, and draw a knowledge graph to explore the progress and hotspots of research on scientific integrity in China. The results show that the overall publication volume of scientific research integrity is on the rise and gradually tends to decline, and the research enthusiasm has a clear policy and event orientation. The publishing institutions had unique disciplinary attributes, and their cooperation was relatively loose or in an independent research state. The research hotspots and development trends from different journal sources have both certain correlations and differences. The definition, causes, and governance of scientific research integrity are hot topics in research, among which the governance measures of scientific research integrity are inherently related to the paths of scientific research culture construction. Guided by problems, efforts should be made to strengthen the construction of spiritual culture, institutional culture, environmental culture, and behavioral culture. A coupling mechanism for the construction of scientific research integrity and scientific research culture should be built to provide theoretical basis for the construction of China’s scientific research integrity system.

Key words: scientific research integrity, scientific research culture, coupling construction, bibliometrics, visualization analysis
