Abstract: Oil and gas field operation management is a key link in the production and operation of oil and gas fields. The skill level and safety awareness of operation personnel are directly related to the safe production and benefits of oil and gas fields. However,the operation environment of oil and gas fields is complex and changeable,with many risk factors. Traditional on-site practical operation training has problems such as large safety hazards and high costs. Introducing simulation training technology and building a training system close to reality can effectively enhance the practical skills and emergency response capabilities of the operators. By analyzing the significant importance of simulation training in the operation management of oil and gas fields,dissecting the current challenges faced by simulation training,and starting from aspects such as constructing a hierarchical training system,developing targeted training courses,and establishing a linkage mechanism between 3D observers and mechanism models,the application strategies of simulation training in the operation management of oil and gas fields are proposed.
