Abstract: The platform of a certain oilfield group has been in service for many years. The anti-corrosion coating on the steel structure in the seawater splashing area and tidal range area has aged, been damaged, and peeled off, losing its protective effect, resulting in an increase in the corrosion rate of the steel structure and affecting the design service life. The offshore oil field group platform is located in a harsh marine environment, which is susceptible to high humidity, high salinity, and corrosive environments,as well as the impact of waves and winter ice ages. Corrosion problems should not be underestimated. A comparative analysis was conducted on the corrosion control schemes and measures for steel structures such as pipeline racks, caissons, waterproof casings, and berthing components located in splash and tidal zones, and the important roles of several schemes in improving platform safety and service life were elaborated.
