Abstract: Based on the analytic hierarchy process （AHP）,the evaluation system for the effectiveness of earthquake science popularization education base is constructed,which includes four first-class indexes,namely,guarantee,scale,activity and effectiveness,and 12 second-class indexes. Through research,it is found that the number of audiences,activities and science popularization products in the base account for the largest proportion in the evaluation system,and the means of publicity and reporting,display and funding guarantee also account for a higher proportion. Based on the research results,the corresponding work suggestions are put forward,which can provide some reference value for further carrying out the effectiveness evaluation of earthquake science popularization education base and improving its internal quality and service level.
