Abstract: Utilizing patent analysis techniques and based on data from global patent databases,this study retrieves patent documents related to the shipbuilding field. It conducts a comprehensive analysis of the development of Tianjin's shipbuilding industry from the perspectives of global patent application trends,an overview of Tianjin's patent applications,and the value and operation of patents related to Tianjin's shipbuilding industry. It reveals the development trajectory of Tianjin's shipbuilding industry and proposes targeted recommendations including establishing university-enterprise collaboration platforms,strengthening regional cooperation,and optimizing market environment. These suggestions aim to facilitate the high-quality development of Tianjin's shipbuilding industry.
