Abstract: This study investigates the author’s demand for medical journal services in the perspective of the experience economy, and proposes relevant countermeasures to attract more authors to publish their papers in domestic medical journals. A survey questionnaire on the service demand of medical journal authors was designed. The survey targets authors who have published papers in medical journals. The questionnaire includes three dimensions:personal basic information, satisfaction with medical journal services, and the editorial services that the authors hope the medical journal will provide, with a total of 26 items. The results show that most authors are satisfied with the services provided by medical journals. The service content can be optimized by shortening the publication cycle, strengthening communication with authors, providing professional academic support and personalized,value-added services,to enhance the author’s submission experience.
