Abstract: The “HYSY 112”,the core Floating Production Storage and Offloading unit (FPSO) of the Caofeidian Oilfield in the Bohai Sea,is connected to the single-point mooring system via three jumper hoses, serving as the “artery” for the transportation of media such as crude oil and water injection. The original jumper hoses, manufactured by Technip France, have been in service since 2014 and have reached their 10-year design life, with potential safety hazards such as produced fluid corrosion and dynamic fatigue. Affected by the international situation, the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) has a lead time of over one year with high costs, which seriously restricts the production capacity and safe operation of the oilfield. Against this backdrop,Caofeidian Operating Company has achieved three major breakthroughs in the project through technological research and process innovation: realizing the first domestic production application of large-size,long-span jumper hoses with a specification of 35.6 cm×55 m conforming to the API 17K design standard;innovating the “liquid-restricted but non-shutdown” construction technology, cutting the construction period from 6 days to 60 hours;establishing a “multi-facility coordination” management model, achieving zero-accident and high-efficiency operations. The project yielded cost savings of 15 million CNY in procurement and shortened the supply cycle by 4 months, and developed a comprehensive solution covering technology research and development, production organization, and on-site management, providing a replicable technical path and implementation model for the localization of offshore oil equipment.
