摘要： 以Protection and Control of Modern Power Systems（PCMP,《现代电力系统保护与控制》）期刊为例,阐述如何依托优势学科选择期刊的定位,充分发挥编委和编辑的作用,借助国外成熟的专业化出版平台,学习国外的先进办刊理念、发行渠道搭建经验、国际宣传策略,使期刊快速地走向国际化;以申请SCIE（Science Citation Index Expand）数据库并被正式收录为例,分析了申请加入 SCIE 过程中值得期刊社关注的事项。

Abstract: Taking the journal of Protection and Control of Modern Power Systems（PCMP）as an example,the paper elaborates on how to choose the positioning of the journal based on dominant disciplines,give full play to the role of editorial boards and editors,utilize mature professional publishing platforms abroad,learn foreign advanced publishing concepts,experience in building distribution channels,and international publicity strategies,and quickly internationalize the journal. Taking the application for SCIE （Science Citation Index Expanded） database and its official inclusion as an example,issues needing attention during the application process for joining SCIE are analyzed.
