Abstract: Large-size non-standard continuous material handling mechanical equipment （hereinafter referred to as “large- size non-standard mechanical equipment”） is a general term for equipment for excavation,loading and unloading,stacking and conveying,which is usually composed of spreader,stacker,reclaimer,stacker-reclaimer,belt conveyor and other large equipment,and widely used in ports,docks,steel,mining,metallurgy,thermal power,storage and other industries. It is not only customized equipment in accordance with actual needs,but also a complex system technology engineering,which is subject to the personnel,equipment,materials,methods and the environment during the design and manufacturing. This paper explores and expounds the design technical problems of large-scale non-standard mechanical equipment,aiming at providing reference for manufacturing and design of large-scale non-standard mechanical equipment.
